Motorcycle Fork Oil

Motorcycle fork oil is the magic liquid that puts the “damping” in your fork dampers, slowing the compression and rebound of your bike’s forks in a way that allows for maximum traction (and therefore control) while riding over surfaces both smooth and rough. The best motorcycle fork oils are usually synthetic and contain additives that prevent foaming and corrosion. Motorcycle fork oil comes in a variety of different “weights”, which is a rating of the oil’s viscosity - The higher the weight/viscosity, the slower the oil flows and the more significant damping effect it has within your motorcycle’s suspension. Check your owner's manual to learn more about how long you can go before replacing your fork oil, and which viscosity is recommended.
